ABOUT OUR CHURCH
First English Lutheran Church is a member of the North American Lutheran Church, or NALC. If you are unfamiliar with what we North American Lutherans believe, please continue to read for a synopsis.

MINISTRY
This family has been called by Christ to minister to all who are in need. Where there is hunger, we strive to provide food. Where there is thirst, drink. Where there is nakedness, clothing. We come together to welcome the stranger and to care for the sick and imprisoned.

WORSHIP
It is in worship that this family of faith gathers together to offer thanks and praise to the Author of Life and Light, our Lord Jesus Christ. It is here that we hear God's Word, receive God's forgiveness, and join the Body of Christ at the Table of Grace, where all are welcome to taste and see that the Lord is good!

Mary and Martha
Women of all ages are welcome to this ministry group. Our meetings are each third Thursday of the month at noon.

EVANGELISM
As Christians, we have the highest hope of any people - complete forgiveness of all our sins and eternal life with God forever in Heaven. As the Holy Spirit dwells within us, He imparts gifts - His fruit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control). As those in the world see this fruit, they wonder why and how it can exist, and we need to be ready to respond.

DISCIPLESHIP
Your brothers and sisters at First English strive not to be just church members, but dedicated and involved disciples of Jesus Christ. Learning to be a disciple of Jesus is a life-long journey that we take together.
